Anoka is a historic river city of 18,000+ people located at the confluence of the Rum and Mississippi Rivers northwest of the Twin Cities, about 18 miles from Minneapolis and 25 miles from St. Paul. Throughout Anoka, businesses, services, entertainment, and activities are abundant. The historic downtown boasts an array of eclectic and unique shops, restaurants, and services, all surrounded by beautiful city parks, trails, and neighborhoods. Anoka is home to many events including Anoka Riverfest & Craft Fair, the Anoka Classic Car Show, and several Halloween activities.
