Corcoran

Corcoran is a picturesque community that includes a balance of local businesses and a mix of residential neighborhoods, rural homesteads, and farms. With a total land area of just under 36 square miles. Corcoran is a large-land city and is the same land size as Maple Grove or Plymouth that includes a balance of local businesses and a mix of residential neighborhoods, rural homesteads, and farms.

Amenities include the Corcoran City Park, park shelter and ball fields, ice rinks and warming house, and the Memorial Garden located behind Corcoran City Hall. Local community organizations such as the Corcoran Lions and the NW Area Jaycees sponsor various events throughout the year in Corcoran.

The City of Corcoran is supported by five different school districts; Buffalo, Delano, Osseo, Rockford, and Wayzata. With approximately 1,900 homes in Corcoran, and 23% of the population under age 19, approximately 1,300 children attend preschool age programs, elementary, middle and high school, within the five school districts. Corcoran has a population of approximately 5,500 residents.
